1. Wash your face two times a day and after sweating
Cleansing your face is an important part of your skincare. Wash your face with lukewarm water and apply a mild facewash / cleanser on your face in circular motion. Then wash it completely with water.
2. Moisturize daily
Moisturizing your face daily helps to avoid dryness and keeps your face moisturized and hydrated. Apply it early in the morning and before going to bed.
3. Sweat it out
Exercise regularly. Running, jogging or even walking daily helps for blood circulation in your body which helps to tone the skin and make it glow.
4. Sleep for at least 8 hours
Atleast 8 hours of sleep is necessary for healthy skin. Not getting enough sleep leads to stress and dark circles and makes your skin dull. Your skin uses sleep hours to heal itself from the day's damage. When you drift off, your skin gets the chance to improve. That's why you may wake up looking fresh and rosy.
5. Hydrate yourself
Drink enough water daily. Keep yourself hydrated throughout. Water keeps your body hydrated and refreshed and helps maintain your skin's elasticity.
6. Don’t use too many products and make your skin sensitive
Don’t layer your face with too many products. Applying too many products at once can be harsh to your skin and may cause acne and breakouts.
7. Avoid touching your face
Touching your face every now and then can cause bacteria to sit on your face and this may lead to breakouts. So, avoid touching your face
8. Wear a sunscreen everyday
Many people think sunscreen is only important in sunny days while you are going out but that’s not true, you should wear sunscreen 365 days a year even in rains. Sunscreen is important all the time as it protects us from the daily UV exposure which is the major sign of premature aging.
9. Eat healthy
Start eating healthy and follow a good diet. Fruits and vegetables contain powerful antioxidants that help to protect skin from the cellular damage caused by free radicals. Eat a rainbow of colourful fruit and vegetables and aim for at least five portions a day.
10. Take your supplements
Nutritional supplements are like a bridge to cover a gap that all the foods or meals can’t provide us.
